The goal of this block of instruction is to introduce students to basic skills for properly conducting interviews and interrogations. The differences between interviews and interrogations will be discussed, as well as techniques to effectively conduct both. Different ways and techniques to document interviews and interrogations will also be discussed. The need for further training and education in interviews and interrogation to develop into an effective interviewer will also be stressed.
