Course Summary
It is highly recommended to attend and complete Basic Instructor Development as a prerequisite to this course. This highly interactive course is designed to develop and enhance the skill sets of curriculum developers and training coordinators to develop and manage law enforcement curricula, instructors, and learners.
Topics include The Sciences of Learning, Assessing Training Needs, Designing Integrated Learning Structures, Developing Content & Delivery Methods, Designing Direct & Indirect Measures, Validation Methods, Training Documentation, Training Safety, and Legal Considerations.
Course Requirements: Achieve at least a 70% score on the written exam. Achieve a passing score on the practical evaluation.
This is an O.E.T. scholarshipped course and is offered free of charge to officers certified in the state of Wyoming.
