Course Summary

This highly interactive and fast-paced course will cover the  topics related to providing instruction, including but not limited to: adult learning principles and how to apply them effectively, presentation techniques that will help build your confidence in front of an audience, how to plan and organize your curriculum development, develop instructional goals and objectives, different types of training for specific training needs.

Course Requirements

To receive certification, students must attend and complete 90% of this course.

Special Instructions

The uniform for this course is business casual or agency uniform. This is an O.E.T. scholarshipped course and is offered free of charge to officers certified in the state of Wyoming. Please note, this course does have a No Show Fee. Cancellations must be received 2 business days before the start of the course. After that time, the No Show Fee may be charged.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The WLEA dormitories will be under construction during this course. HOUSING FOR ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Students will be notified of housing availability after the course registration deadline.
