Course Summary
Students will receive in-class instruction and practical training with a scope-mounted patrol rifle. At the completion of the course, students will be proficient with their scoped patrol rifle from 5 yards to 300 yards. Students will also understand ballistics, different shooting techniques, and establish good “DOPE” for their patrol rifle.

This course will take place off campus. Your registration fee will cover your course fee, housing and meals on the Powderhorn Ranch Please complete registration through Acadis and/or with the WLEA at wlea@wyo.gov.

Equipment List
Students must bring the required equipment for this course, including ammunition. As this course takes place off-campus, standard ammo is allowed.
-Rifle equipped with 1-4x magnification or greater
-1,000 rounds of ammo
-4 Magazines (recommend 20 rounder)
-Eye pro
-Ear pro
-Notebook and writing utensil
-Binoculars
-Day pack or Backpack
-Water bottle
-Bipod and/or tripod
-1 can of white spray paint
