To teach the students to safely and effectively prepare for and conduct daily law enforcement activities, to include preparation of vehicle and personal equipment, completion of uniform citations, response types, methods of patrol, and peace officer responsibilities as first responders. Identify what the functions of the patrol officer are, and how they impact crime prevention and traffic enforcement. Identify the definition of “Dynamic Patrol”, how it is practically accomplished on duty, and what benefits are realized from applying it while on patrol.
