Course Summary

This course provides students with advanced training in several detention subjects. Topics include courtroom security, cell extractions, use of force, emergency vehicle operations, and major case printing.

Course Requirements

To receive Wyoming POST credit students must attend at least 90% of the course and actively participate.

Special Instructions

The uniform for this course is business casual or agency uniform.

Equipment List

1. Note taking and study tools. 2. Appropriate clothing to participate in practical exercises.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The WLEA dormitories will be under construction during this course. HOUSING FOR ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Students will be notified of housing availability after the course registration deadline.
