Course Summary
Students receive skills and information to become functional Field Training Officers. Topics include evaluation methods, teaching methods, remedial training, effects of personal style, legal issues, behavior modification, and documentation.
Course Requirements
To receive Wyoming POST credit, students must attend at least 90% of the curriculum and actively participate.
Special Instructions
The uniform for this course is business casual or agency uniform.

Wyoming based students need to register on Acadis.

Pricing for staying at the academy is $65/ Night (Double Occupancy) or $95/Night (Single Occupancy) (includes three meals)
If students only want meals they are available at a rate of $15 per day or $5 per meal.
HOUSING FOR ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Students will be notified of housing availability after the course registration deadline.
