Course Summary
To introduce the detention officer to the importance of proper inmate classification through the Objective Jail Classification System. To understand the impact a properly classified inmate can have on all aspects of jail operation. Define “Inmate Classification”. Identify the two types of inmate classification systems. Identify characteristics of subjective and objective classification systems. List the components of an objective classification system.
Course Requirements
To receive Wyoming POST Credit, students must attend at least 90% of the course and actively participate.
