Course Summary
This course, taught by Defensive Edge founder Greg "Sully" Sullivan, covers the Bolt Action Sniper Rifle systems of the Remington 700 series, Savage 10/110 series, and Winchester/FN 70 series type rifles. All students will have the opportunity to inspect their rifles and make any corrections in class to ensure their rifle is in top working order. This is a hands on class that will cover action disassembly & repair, torquing actions, proper torque of the action, extraction and ejection, maintenance, truing/lapping scope rings to maximize the performance of the rifle and optic, inspection of the pillar and bedding, and more.
Course Requirements
Students are required to attend and actively participate in the course.
Special Instructions
Students are required to register both with W.L.E.A. as well as through Defensive Edge. Once registration fee has been paid to the vender students must register on Acadis. For out of state students please contact WLEA at wlea@wyo.gov to complete registration. The fee for the course is $300 will be paid to Defensive Edge during their registration process. Lodging & meals may be available on a first-come first-served basis at WLEA for a total of $65. Meals only are available at WLEA at a rate of $5 per lunch or $12 per day for all meals.

2. Gun cleaning equipment.
3. Clothing suitable for working on guns.
