Course Summary
This course, taught by Defensive Edge founder Greg "Sully" Sullivan, covers the AR-15 style rifle. All students will have the opportunity to inspect their rifles and make any repairs/corrections in class to ensure that it is in top working order. This is a hands-on class that will entail custom fitting of parts, so expect to be doing lots of hands on work. This course covers all M16/AR15 type carbine weapons systems made and their variants. Armorers will be certified in the proper maintenance, care, and repair of these weapons systems, including semi-auto and select-fire trigger systems. This program follows the Manufacturer’s guidelines and is taught by FBI and NRA Certified Instructors.
Course Requirements
Students are required to attend and actively participate in the course.
Special Instructions
Students are required to register both with W.L.E.A. as well as through Defensive Edge. This is a dual registration course. $550 paid to the vendor. Once students have completed registration with the vender they must complete the registration on Acadis. If student is out of state please contact WLEA at wlea@wyo.gov to complete registration. Lodging & meals may be available on a first-come first-served basis at WLEA for a total of $130. Meals only are available at WLEA at a rate of $5 per lunch or $12 per day for all meals.
