Course Summary

This course, taught by Defensive Edge founder Greg "Sully" Sullivan, covers the AR-15 style rifle. All students will have the opportunity to inspect their rifles and make any repairs/corrections in class to ensure that it is in top working order. This is a hands-on class that will entail custom fitting of parts, so expect to be doing lots of hands on work.

Course Requirements

Pre-requisites: Must have attended the SLR15 AR15/M16/M4/AR308 Armorer Course within the last 24 months.

Special Instructions

Students are required to register both with W.L.E.A. as well as through Defensive Edge. To register with Defensive Edge, go to TheDefensiveEdge.com, complete the Defensive Edge Law Enforcement Training Application, and submit it via fax to 763.712.1434 or via email to sully@slr15.com. 

Equipment List

1. AR-15 style rifle(s). 2. Gun cleaning equipment. 3. Clothing suitable for working on guns.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Wyoming based students need to register on Acadis.

Any non-Wyoming based student needing lodging can contact the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy at 307-358-3617 or email at wlea@wyo.gov

Pricing for staying at the academy is $65/ Night (Double Occupancy) or $95/Night (Single Occupancy) (includes three meals)
If students only want meals they are available at a rate of $15 per day or $5 per meal.

HOUSING FOR ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Students will be notified of housing availability after the course registration deadline.
