Course Summary
During this 10-hour course of instruction presented by TAC*ONE Consulting attendees will learn to:
-Identify current active shooter trends & Uvalde factors which led to “group think” and massive failures through the entire event
-Understand the “tone” difference in tactics (physically) and communication (radio verbiage) during recent shootings Safeway (CO 2021) & Covenant School (TN 2023) -Confront the shooter alone
-Communicate and move in pairs if cover officer is present -Target identification
-Use of force considerations
At the end of this program students will have the knowledge, mindset, and skills necessary to aggressively and effectively respond to an active shooter situation alone or in pairs.

This course is being offered twice, in order to accommodate a larger number of students.
This is a dual-registration course. Students must register with and pay TAC*ONE Consulting directly.
The TAC*ONE fee is $350.00. This is a one-day course.
If lodging is required at WLEA the night prior to the course, that is available at no charge to the agency, as the fee will be covered by the OET fund.
