Course Summary
WASCOP Executive Director Allen Thompson will present a four-hour block of training on new laws of interest for Wyoming Law Enforcement. These laws will be passed during the 2027 Legislative Session and will go into effect in 2027. This training will be available in-person at WLEA and virtually via Google Meet. It is POST accredited and presented free of charge to all officers certified in Wyoming thanks to WLEA and WASCOP. The topics will cover new laws pertaining to law enforcement.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Wyoming based students need to register on Acadis.
Any non-Wyoming based student needing lodging can contact the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy at 307-358-3617 or email at wlea@wyo.gov
Pricing for staying at the academy is $65/ Night (Double Occupancy) or $95/Night (Single Occupancy) (includes three meals)
If students only want meals they are available at a rate of $15 per day or $5 per meal.
HOUSING FOR ADVANCED TRAINING STUDENTS IS NOT GUARANTEED. Students will be notified of housing availability after the course registration deadline.
